I wanted to take a moment to ask for prayer. Camp is an intensely powerful week and there are many areas that need God’s protection and blessing. Camp starts in 48 hours (47 hours and 55 minutes to be exact) so I ask that you take some time pray for us. If you are reading this and unable to attend camp, we ask that you pray for us while we are there. It is an encouragement knowing that people back home are covering us in prayers.

Last summer I babysat for a family who had a pool and Hannah went in the water everyday. But that was last year and the memories have faded. This summer we have had the opportunity to go swimming in our friend’s pool at least once a week and Hannah could not be more excited. At the mere mention of the word “pool”, Hannah is packed and waiting by the door to go. Isn’t that the way we are with camp? Last year’s memories have started to fade and this year’s excitement is hard to contain! Guess what else I learned at the pool today that I can compare to camp.
Young Teen Week has begun and by evidence of my failure to post this yesterday, you can tell life is busy here.
As we spend the last 5 days packing and getting ready for our week, please remember the young teens in prayer.
We wanted to post this video again for your enjoyment.
Have a great weekend!
A few people have been asking me about the camp medical forms. Let me give you the quick overview of our policy.
This year there are some people who are not going to be able to make it to camp.
Some of your friends have graduated out of Senior Teen. Other have already made other plans.
If you are unable to come to camp this year we would still like to hear from you.
Leave us a comment and let us know how you are doing and why you aren’t coming to camp.
If you are thinking of visiting us this summer please contact Jordan & Joy first. That way we can let you know an appropriate time to come.
We will miss you and we hope you are having a great summer.
If you were not at Senior Teen 2009 (or it’s been too long and you forgot) here is a quick review of last year’s craziness.

One Life…No Regrets, Mariah won an Ipod, Craig filmed the “life expectancy of a taco”, Jevaun was the best dressed hula dancer & Kyle had the best moves, Luau by the Lake, High School Musical cereal, “death ball”, Jackie, Shaugh & Jevaun volunteered to eat mystery items, You’re Beautiful & Cannons, American Idol…camp style, steal the bacon with the big ball, cup in the mouth relay, Communion in small groups, Ultimate at night, volleyball, waffle bar, homemade ice cream sandwiches, boathouse worship, God changed lives, the best staff ever, and so much more!

I can’t wait for this year’s list!
