With the official opening of camp yesterday, we have 3 weeks until Senior Teen 2010!  That’s only 20 more days!

I have been going to camp all my life.  Seriously!  My dad use to be the Rec. Director for Young Teen week and I think I started camp at the age of 2 or 3.

Some of my very first memories include camp memories.  When I was old enough to be a camper I packed my bags for Junior Week and have not missed a year since.

No matter how old I get, I still get butterflies in my stomach as we make the turn onto Rt 652.  Not much can keep me in my seat as we near the camp road.  The car does not move fast enough as I strain to see the camp sign.

My brothers and I use to play this game where we would be the first person to see the lake through the trees. (I play it now with Jordan but he says it’s unfair because he is driving and needs to keep his eyes on the road.  My response has been, “I win”.)

With only 3 weeks left my camp memories come flooding back and the excitement builds as I am ready to make new memories.
