For many of you the carefree days of summer have come to a close and school has begun. Whether you are now in college or in high school, classes are nothing like sitting at the beach. There is a sense of excitement that surrounds the first day of school, unfortunately it does not last for very long. Here are some ideas for making it through the school day.
* Plaster your locker with pictures of camp. This will help you remember your camp friends are praying for you. Go to the senior teen flickr site for pictures.
* Join a youth group or a campus club that will help you grow in your faith. This will give you something to do other than school work.
*As you ride the bus or walk to school, take that time to pray for your school day. God hears our prayers and promises to be with us no matter what.
*Decorate your notebooks with the Faith, Hope, & Love symbols. Let them be a reminder of what Craig talked about this summer and how Christ changed your life.
*Start a Fall Retreat Countdown. Having something to look forward to makes the time fly.
*Feel free to contact your counselor or other staff members to let them know how your day went and if you are struggling. Just because camp is over does not mean the staff is no longer a support system. We are here for you, praying for you, and supporting you daily.
Having a bad day? Stick this in your locker and remember Brady thinks you are cool and it will all be OK!
