On the blog for the past few months we have been remembering Senior Teen 2009 and we are gearing up for Senior Teen 2010. We are about to host our Spring Retreat in May and then it is full force until camp in August.

This morning I did not want to get out of bed. I had done some heavy lifting yesterday and this morning my body was protesting. All I wanted was more sleep. My muscles did not want to support my weight. I felt grumpy, dirty, and worn out. Yet my daughter was calling and the day’s work needed to be done. So slowly I got up and dressed for the day. Reluctantly I put on my coat and headed outside to get something from my car. The minute I stepped out the door I was greeted by a cool, crisp, and very refreshing breath of air. Instantly I was awake, renewed, and ready to take on the day.
Many of you had the privilege of getting to know Pastor Eric, the nurse Stephanie, and their great kids, Katy, Julian, Libby, & Abi, last year at camp. Sadly they will not be returning to Senior Teen 2010, but for good reasons.
Where was the last place you saw your red bracelet from camp 2009? Is it stuck in the back of your sock drawer? Is it hiding under the clutter on your desk? Did it find the bottom of the trash can?
When was the last time you thought about the message on that red bracelet? In the midst of an argument with your parents? In the middle of a conversation about God with your friends? As you made an important decision?
